From what it said in the story, Scout and Jem were arguing about how Jem broke his arm. Scout said Ewels broke his arm, but Jem said when Dill came to the area. I think it was Dill because while reading the book Jem was being a jerk to Dill. So Dill had an alaby to hurt Jem.

ReplyDeletei don't think Jem broke his arm because him and Dill was getting along and became friends and didn't worry about nothing. I know this because Jem and Dill were at a picture watching Dracula.
ReplyDeleteI think Jem broke his arm when he was trying to get Boo Radley out of the house. In the book it says that if you steeped one foot on his steps he would kill you.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, I think Dill broke Jem's arm. Until the point of the chapter where Scout was asking so many trivial questions about Dill and why he never told anything about his father, Jem was being rude to Dill. Maybe it could have been a form of revenge to make him feel the way Jem made him feel.
ReplyDeleteI think while Jem and Dill were friends, they would play football but then while they were playing, maybe Jem fell and Dill fell on top of him when Jem broke his arm and Jem could have always thought it was Dill and he always dispised him for that.
